Meet the Artist:
My name is Faranmaye Oladunjoye (Jnr) F.O.J in short, and I live and work in lagos Nigeria, west Africa.I am a self taught full-time pencil artist, specializing in realistic portraits. Although I've been drawing since I was a kid, probably around age 5 or 6 (mostly cartoons) I only started creating Pencil portraitures in 2016 after seeing hyperrealistic pencil drawings of Kelvin Okafor and Arinze Stanley (two of the very best realistic pencil artists in the world.. in my opinion of course) on Instagram, and I began working professionally around 2019 when I graduated from University.I’ve had the pleasure of drawing various people from different races/ethnicities and pets as well (mostly cats and dogs) across the globe.If you'd like to see my process of creation, you can check out my social media handles below where you will see more progress shots and videos of my pencil drawings.
